Asheesh Sastry joined Boston Consulting Group in June 2014. He is a core member of the firm's Energy practice, specializing in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on upstream and natural gas issues. He also has broad experience in downstream and petrochemicals. Asheesh is also a member of the firm’s Strategy practice.
Asheesh has worked extensively with national and international oil companies and chemical producers across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia on topics covering upstream transformation, gas/liquified-natural-gas strategies, refining strategy, operational improvement, people and change management, and joint-venture set-up.
Prior to joining the firm, Asheesh was a partner at Booz & Company, having spent 9 years there, and 5 years at Royal Dutch/Shell.
