Vikash has extensive experience working in the technology space, especially in IT and IT enabled services (IT/ITeS), including BPO, customer experience, and engineering services. Vikash is BCG’s leading expert in the sector having worked with clients across Asia, Europe, and North America on a range of topics. His expertise includes strategy, growth, and large scale transformations in the areas of go-to-market, operation and delivery, organization, and operating model. Many of these transformations having been necessitated by the changing paradigm of digital, next-gen technology, automation, and analytics.

Vikash also has deep expertise in the topic of sourcing, having seen the outsourcing and offshoring space from all vantage points. He advises clients on large transformative operating model redesign initiatives that incorporate making strategic sourcing choices, including build or partner for value and impact . He works with financial sponsors in providing strategic advice on assets as well as working with management teams in transformation and value creation journeys for the portfolio companies.

Vikash is also actively engaged with the technology industry more directly, working with software, SaaS, and digital natives/growth tech firms on a range of topics including growth, transition to SaaS, and performance improvement. He has also worked with several leading media clients on topics including growth, analytics, and post-merger integrations.

Vikash works at an industry level within the technology industry and analyst community, and has worked closely with industry bodies on a wide range of industry-level initiatives. He has co-authored several reports on industry critical topics.

Prior to joining BCG, Vikash was a Partner with Everest Group, and a Strategy Consultant at Accenture. He started his career with Standard Chartered Grindlays in the foreign exchange markets.
