Bernd Ziegler leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care practice in Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He also leads the firm’s construction and real estate topics in Germany and is a member of BCG’s Marketing & Sales practice.
Since joining BCG in 1999, Bernd has worked extensively with clients in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on issues related to corporate strategy. He also has particular experience in marketing and sales, research and development, channel strategy, and commercial efficiency in biopharma.
In the course of his career, Bernd has developed strategic plans, growth strategies, and market-entry strategies for a number of biopharma companies. He has deep experience in postmerger integrations in a variety of sectors.
