John Florez é um membro central das operações e práticas energéticas do Boston Consulting Group. He has over 20 years of refining and chemicals experience (operating or supporting refineries and chemical plants in the US, Central and South America, and Europe) and is a member of the firm's refinery leadership team, and the energy downstream refining and chemicals team.
John is a refining and chemical plant operations expert, having developed and led activities to reduce OPEX spend and improve profitability through reorganization, digital tool deployment, best practice implementation, e remodelamento geral de negócios.
He is very involved with both internal and external organizations focused on Latinx diversity and inclusion efforts, as well as with helping downstream energy clients decarbonize and develop paths toward carbon neutrality.
Before joining BCG, John worked at ExxonMobil Refining/Chemicals in various roles, and as Operations Director at the Dow Chemical Plant in Texas City, TX.
