Carsten Schaetzberger joined Boston Consulting Group in 2003 and spent time in BCG’s Cologne and Detroit offices before moving to Stuttgart. Carsten is the global leader of Boston Consulting Group's Industrial Goods practice.
Carsten has worked extensively with automotive, aerospace, and industrial clients, in Europe, the US, and Asia, advising them on a wide range of topics. He has led multiple transformation programs with performance optimization along the full value chain (fixed-cost and restructuring, product cost and procurement, research and development, sales, and after-sales). In recent years, he has also had a strong focus on digital transformation, including digital business building, and advanced analytics based optimization.
Antes de ingressar no BCG, Carsten trabalhou como pesquisador no Instituto Fraunhofer de Engenharia Industrial. Ele também trabalhou na Tüv Rheinland Japan e em técnicas de medição de alta precisão para sistemas BAE no Reino Unido.
