Laura A. Villani is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice, where she focuses on new downstream (gas and power networks, retail, and energy efficiency) and Renováveis. Since joining BCG in 2014, Laura has worked extensively with multiple gas and power network players along all the steps of the value chain. Her client engagements have covered large reorganizations for both transmission system operators and distribution system operators, lean and operational excellence programs, and new growth opportunities—both in terms of products and services as well as geographies.

Laura has supported most of the top EU players on multiple topics in the renewables space, with a strong focus on business development, operations and maintenance improvements, sourcing strategy, execution, and organization. She also led a thorough benchmarking of the wind energy sector looking at cost and performance across the EU and US.
